Independent candidate. Vote Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Andrew Mrozowskifor Richmond City Council
Better services. Better value. Accountability.
A practical, independent voice for Richmond. I am a Richmond parent, community volunteer and business professional. I believe residents deserve excellent services and strong accountability for every tax dollar.
About
Nineteen years in Richmond. A career spent getting value for money.

My family has called Richmond home since 2007. We raised our children here. This is where we work, play and volunteer.
I served as Vice President of the Richmond Tennis Club for many years and helped with the Richmond Open. I still play senior soccer with Richmond United. I was involved in the tennis dome project. Through this work I have seen how our parks, fields and community centres serve local families every day.
In my career I have worked in buying and contracts for both private companies and public organizations, including Health Shared Services BC. That work is about getting good value. It means comparing options, managing costs and making sure money is well spent. I want to bring that same practical approach to City Hall.
I have also worked directly with City Hall by sending in ideas and service requests to help improve how our community is served, and I have spoken publicly on public safety.
I am running as an independent. That means I answer to residents, not to a party or a slate. I am ready to ask fair questions, listen to people and focus on real results.

My plan
Richmond is a great city. City Hall can do better.
Here are my seven priorities for a Council that delivers.
Why I'm running
You work hard for your money. City Hall should too.
You should be able to count on reliable services and clear value for every tax dollar. My goal is to make services better and to get more value from the money the City spends. I want to protect the services people rely on and improve how they are delivered. I am ready to ask tough questions, listen to residents and focus on practical results.
City Hall can do better, and I want to help make that happen.
